The recipe here is vegan, gluten-free and absolutely amazing. So how did chia seeds become so popular? They are simply among the healthiest foods available today. It got popular among vegans and people who popularized “clean eating” on social media. But technically, chia seeds have been with us since the Mayan civilization, which is around 1800 BC!


Their high fiber protein and healthy fat content provide an interesting nutrition profile for health-conscious individuals. With the high levels of fiber in each serving, it keeps you full for a longer time. The soluble fibers in chia seeds, that gives the gel-like appearance and texture after soaking, slows down the absorption of sugar into the bloodstream. This prevents blood sugar spikes. They are naturally gluten-free and has a nutty flavor if sprinkled to smoothies, oats and cereals. The high content of antioxidants works great for skin health and help in keeping the inflammation markers in the body at a low level. Many nutritionists and health experts believe that chia seeds help in weight-loss due to their high fiber and protein content. It’s also great for your gut health. Moreover, they are so easy to incorporate into your diet. You can soak them and add to your healthy beverages like juices, smoothies, add them to your bread and other baked products, or simply sprinkle on top of your toasts, porridges and yoghurt.

So what makes this chia seed pudding recipe even better? The additional nutrition of sesame seeds and deliciousness from pistachio and cardamom. This recipe for chia pudding is super quick and easy. You don’t need to spend a lot of time planning or prepping for these kinds of on-the-go meals.  It’s so creamy and the addition of our sesame butter with pistachio morsels and cardamom make it amazingly creamy and delicious.  If you haven’t made a chia pudding before, it’s high time you try this and this time, with our amazing sesame butter.   • ½ cup chia seeds
  • 1 ½ cups of plant-based milk
  • 2 tbsp. Simply Sesame pistachio morsels and cardamom
  • ½ cup Fresh cut fruits like strawberries, pomegranate and kiwi.



  1. In a bowl mix, all the ingredients (along with half the quantity of the sesame butter) except the fruits. Whisk this well and let it soak in the refrigerator for about 3-4 hours or overnight.
  2. Top it with a dollop of the Simply Sesame pistachio morsels and cardamom and freshly cut fruits. Serve chilled.



  1. It’s best consumed when fresh, however, the leftovers can be stored in a mason jar and refrigerated for 4-5 days.
  2. You can also add more toppings of your choice, like nuts, granola, dried fruits etc.
  3. You can use any plant-based milk of your choice. We have used almond milk for this recipe.
